A friend of mine shared a nice idea on Facebook that I think is worth passing along. She mentioned that a family tradition was to have her children pack up a bag of toys that they no longer play with and put them under the tree on Christmas Eve. Santa takes them back to the North Pole and fixes them up to give to other girls and boys the next year. I think this is a very creative way to model giving back. It can be done with clothing also.
